System Tray

In GNOME and KDE, the System Tray gives a place to display various items. Awesome doesn't directly have this capability, so some additional programs are needed to achieve this functionality.
- Trayer is a part of fvwm-crystal that some people use to create a system tray.
- Stalonetray is a standalone system tray implementation, complying to the freedesktop.org's specs.
- Xfce-panel is a full panel that support a system tray plugin. It's quite lightweight and will autohide if reqired.
