This tip didn't work for me. (another ekg2 version maybe ? Mine is 20090404+0800-1)

To get this script working, I had to do the the following:

copy the scipt to ~/.ekg2/scripts/notify-script.py

load the python plugin in ekg2: 

 /plugin +python

load the script: 

 /python:load notify-script
